Tours is seeking a Yoga Instructor/outdoor adventure enthusiast who enjoys
multi tasking while dealing with active bus and FIT tourists, in an aviation
setting.
ICEFIELD HELICOPTER TOURS is an
eco-adventure tourism company offering helicopter flights and adventures
including sightseeing, heli-yoga, heli-hiking, heli-picnics, heli-weddings,
and heli-fishing.
Our way of sightseeing is the most protective of the environment. Helicopter
tours provide access to many people who otherwise could not visit remote
sites, while creating the least environmental impact to the delicate
ecosystem of our area’s scenic wonders.
We’re proud of our efforts to be
responsible environmental stewards. Through the use of technology, voluntary
efforts to avoid sensitive sites, and with the highest regard for safety, we
know we are helping assure enjoyment of our area’s wild and scenic areas for
generations to come.
THREE POSITIONS OFFERED
–
seasonal Yoga Instructor/Adventure Customer Specialists from April to
October
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Front desk position responsible for customer care
- Reservations and sales by telephone, email and to drop in guests
- Processing flights and adventure packages
- Digital photography, sales and processing of customer photos
- Customer safety flight briefing
- Computer tracking and reports
- Supervise guests in field situations for picnics and BBQ’s
- Heli-hike guide, if an adventure tourism graduate or ACMG certified
- Heli-Yoga Instructor, if qualified
- Radio operator coordinating flights and conducting flight watch
- Gift shop sales
- Picnic sales and production
- Driving guests in a 15 passenger van
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mature person able to multi-task
- Computer skills
- Fit outdoor enthusiast
- First Aid qualified
- Class 4 drivers license, after employed
- Radio Operator license, after employed
- Adventure Tourism graduate or Yoga instructors given preference
